Philosophy is a way of thinking about the world, and children are discovering the world for the first time. It is therefore critical that they are given time to think about the big questions in life, such as: What is the universe? What is the nature of human thought? How are we all connected? This is key to developing abstract thinking by harnessing the child-like wonder of children as they discover the world around them and ask “Why?”
About Consciousness & Metaphysics
Our Thinking field, is unique in that it is an intellectual journey and adventure for children – it brings the studying to them: their thoughts, their ideas, their questions.
As they are slowly introduced to the concept of Consciousness, Metaphysics, Ontology, Philosophy, in a child friendly way – they start to benefit by valuing their own thoughts and questions.
ROK Learning is the only curriculum with such a strong focus on this thinking field for small children from a very young age. This deep thinking by children can lead to new ways of thinking and of looking at the world.
We shed light on the meaning of consciousness in everyday settings and in a natural language and ask them to analyse their thoughts. As they begin to think deeply and come up with different ideas about how they feel the universe and the world works, it also gives them soft skills to help them as they grow. They learn to appreciate how everyone has a different way of looking at the world and that both their and everyone else’s thoughts and ideas are uniquely valuable.
We want children excited about sharing their thoughts and ideas. As they share their ideas they gain confidence about discussing their perspective of the world, and this outlook will stay with them as they grow.
“We initiated ROK Learning to free children from statically absorbing academic facts to instead being critical thinkers and innovators.”

How our system works
Each session covers a new topic which altogether form part of our systematic curriculum, so that by the end of the year your child will have received knowledge and done exercises and quizzes across a vast knowledge area. When you log in to each session, on any given day you will find either a write-up or a video or an activity. Our program is designed to really get children thinking and learning new and unique things, and thinking more innovatively and creatively. Every month the 16 new topic sessions are supported by 8 revision sessions that builds on their earlier knowledge and encourage cross-functional thinking.
