At ROK Learning our Thinking Field, is unique in that it not only covers the history of design but also tries to give children the tools to really understand the design process.
We shed light on how to develop insights and define a problem in an actionable way. We give them the analytical tools and basic spatial level skill sets to generate and visualize ideas. We discuss prototype development and the many different ways the design process is iterative. finally we work to ensure they have robust understanding of the need to evaluate and test design solutions.
We want to immerse them in real world problem-solving. The ultimate aim is to have children looking at problems in a different perspective, understanding root causes and comin up with innovative solutions.

How our system works
Each session covers a new topic which altogether form part of our systematic curriculum, so that by the end of the year your child will have received knowledge and done exercises and quizzes across a deep and wide knowledge area. When you log in to each session, on any given day you will find either a write-up or a video or an activity. Our program is designed to really get children thinking and learning new and unique things, and thinking more innovatively and creatively. Every month the 16 new topic sessions are supported by 8 revision sessions that builds on their earlier knowledge and encourage cross-functional thinking.
